The National Institute of Health estimates that over 23 million Americans suffer with autoimmune disease. Other authorities on the subject suggest the number is actually approaching 50 million just in the United States alone. The numbers worldwide are staggering. Between 80 and 100 autoimmune diseases have been identified now and the list is growing. Celiac Disease, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.), Fibromyalgia and many others all being driven by an autoimmune response.
