What type of doctor are you?

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and Functional Medicine practitioner. My focus is on helping you regain your health through proven strategies that work in conjunction with any medical care you may be receiving.

What type of training have you received?

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Functional Medicine Practitioner. I first studied Pre-Medicine in the College of Natural Science at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. I have been fully trained in Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Neurology, Blood Chemistry Analysis, Diagnosis and Treatment. My post graduate training is in Functional Medicine, Blood Chemistry evaluation, Clinical Nutrition and Functional Neurology.

Will my insurance cover my Functional Medicine program?

Your insurance will likely pay for bloodwork that will be ordered based on your history and symptomatology. There may be other tests needed that go above and beyond the standard of care that your insurance carrier may consider non-reimbursable. I only order tests that I feel are absolutely necessary and will discuss my rationale in detail before any non-covered testing is ordered. My coaching and nutritional supplements needed to support your Functional Medicine program are not covered by insurance, however we do our very best to make our programs affordable. Most of our clients are hardworking middle class individuals who have been suffering with health problems and just want to get their lives back. My goal is to make Functional Medicine available to all who need it whether through One on One coaching or the Membership site I created.

How long will my Functional Medicine treatment plan take?

The length of your treatment plan will be based on your history, symptoms, length of time suffering with your symptoms or condition, necessary lab testing and last your goals. For this reason it is hard to predict the length of your treatment. There are those chronically sick clients who will need 9 months or more to achieve the goals they are hoping for, and there are those who will do very well in 90 days or less. Most clients begin to see changes in their health within the first month. Maintenance programs are available for those who want to continue to have guidance after their initial program is complete, however my goal is to educate you to be able to take care of yourself by the end of your initial program.

How much will my Functional Medicine programs cost?

We make every effort to make Functional Medicine affordable for everyone who needs help. Programs can vary significantly depending on the severity and length of time you have been having your health issues. I am not an expert in all areas so don’t accept everyone as a client. After completing our consultation process I will determine if you are a good candidate and if so I will accept your case. I only accept those individuals I truly feel I can help and who are committed to making the changes necessary to obtain the desired outcome. I only accept a limited number of cases on a monthly basis so that I can devote the time each client needs to help them regain their health. Once accepted I will likely order the most specific and latest testing procedures and based on those results will come up with a Functional Medicine program tailored to your specific situation. The cost for One on One coaching will include all supplementation so your food cost will be your only additional expense. If One on One coaching isn’t an option for you I have created the Membership coaching site where you get me by video. This is a great option for those who are unable to receive One on One coaching.

How do I know if I am a candidate for Functional Medicine?

The quickest way to see if you are a candidate is to click on the consultation tab above and fill out the required information for a free phone consultation with my staff. You can leave a message but it isn’t required. Please at least leave the best time to reach you. If you prefer, you can call the office to schedule your free health consultation at 407-522-5858. During this call my staff will gather information regarding your situation to see if you qualify for a phone consultation with me. If you qualify a phone consultation with me, one will be scheduled at that time. During your phone consultation with me I will review in depth your personal and family history, review any blood chemistry results you have for me to review, discuss your goals and answer any questions you may have and determine if you are a good candidate for a program of care.
